Resolution to approve bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. for Sanitary Sewer Relay & Sanitary Spot Relays of Various Locations in Sanitary Sewer Basin WE 23, in the amount of $597,127.00

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. for 2005 Project No. 17 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. or 2005 Project No. 17:
Sanitary Sewer Relay & Sanitary Spot Relays
Various Locations in Sanitary Sewer Basin WE 23
(Plan File No(s). S-1299, S-1300, S-1301, S-1302, S-1303, X-758, X-759, X-760, X-761, X-762, X-763, X-764, X-765, X-766, X-767)
for the Sanitary Sewer Relay & Sanitary Spot Relays
for the sum of Five hundred ninety seven thousand one hundred twenty seven dollars ($597,127.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds.
