Resolution to approve bid of Reesman's Excavating & Grading, Inc. for street construction, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer relay, storm sewer, water main relay, building services & utility adjustments in S. 73rd Street from West Walker Street to the north City limits, S. 74th Street from West Washington Street to the north City limits, and S. 78th Street from W. Greenfield Avenue to W. National Avenue within the City of West Allis, in the amount of $1,571,656.30.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid Reesman's Excavating & Grading, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 3 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Reesman's Excavating & Grading, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 3:
Street Construction, Sanitary Sewer Relay, Storm Sewer Relay, Storm Sewer, Water Main Relay, Building Services & Utility Adjustments in S. 73rd Street from West Walker Street to the north City limits, S. 74th Street from West Washington Street to the north City limits, and S. 78th Street from W. Greenfield Avenue to W. National Avenue
(Plan File Nos. SP-1142, SP-1145, SP-1146, S-1356, S-1357, X-802, X-803, U-2468, U-2469, U-2470, U-2471, W-1246, W-1247, W-1248, W-1249, W-1250 & W-1251)
for the sum of One Million Five Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-six and 30/100 dollars ($1,571,656.30)
