Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Truck Country for furnishing one (1) Truck Chassis for a total sum of $73,398.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) truck chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Truck Country be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 8, 2010 submitted by Truck Country for furnishing one (1) 2011 Freightliner M2 106V 41,000 GVW truck chassis for $73,398.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1065 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
