Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for an estimated sum of $263,100.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for the period August 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering approximately 48,000 gallons of diesel fuel at $2.90/gallon and 42,000 gallons of unleaded fuel at $2.95/gallon for the estimated sum of $263,100.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid fuel.
