Title

Resolution relative to accepting  the proposals of Neher Electric and Werner Electric for furnishing and delivering Street Lamps for a total sum of $33,553.92.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering street lamps for the Public Work's Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Neher Electric and Werner Electric be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 28, 2013 submitted by Neher Electric for various high and low pressure sodium lamps for a total sum of $32,389.92 and the proposal dated October 25, 2013 submitted by Werner Electric for various metal halide and frosted lamps for a total sum of $1,164.00 for a total net sum of $33,553.92 in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ 3349 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
