Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Sherwin Industries, Inc. for furnishing one (1) demo Road Marking Machine for a total sum of $33,746.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for one (1) Slide-In Dual Color Airless Road Marking Machine for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Sherwin Industries, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 28, 2013 submitted by Sherwin Industries, Inc. for furnishing one (1) demo 2013 Graco 24G687 Slide-In Dual Color Airless Road Marking Machine in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1200 for $33,746.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
