Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the City Engineer to pay for storm sewer repairs along South Curtis Road in the amount of $20,643.70.

Body

WHEREAS, a large sinkhole developed on South Curtis Road approximately 1,000 feet north of 116^th Street; and,

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department determined that the condition was an emergency due to a six inch gas line that was unsupported along with most of the south bound travel lane and contracted with Mainline Sewer and Water, Inc. to assist with the repairs; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to Mainline Sewer and Water, Inc. in the amount of  $20,643.70 from Account #540-1807-538-6102.
