Resolution to approve bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for the installation of sanitary sewer relay, building services and miscellaneous adjustments in South 76th Street from North City Limits to West Greenfield Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $427,428.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 6 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 6 for:
the installation of sanitary sewer relay, building services and miscellaneous adjustments in South 76th Street from North City Limits to West Greenfield Avenue
PLAN FILE NOS. S-1515, S-1516, S-1517
for the sum of Four Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Eight and 00/100 dollars ($427,428.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds and Water Utility Funds.
