Title

Resolution authorizing the Health Commissioner to contract with an animal control service for purposes of coyote control.

Body

WHEREAS, Residents have reported seeing coyotes within their neighborhoods.

WHEREAS, wild animals, including coyotes, that have lost their fear of man and occupy urban neighborhoods can pose a threat to public safety.

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to remove coyotes that have infiltrated West Allis neighborhoods.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis authorize the City Health Commissioner to contract with an animal control service for purposes of coyote control.
