Resolution relative to deleting the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual Nos. 1701 through 1704 under Fire Department.
 
Body
WHEREAS, upon recent review of Fire Department policies by staff, it has been determined that under Chapter 62.13(6) of the Wisconsin State Statutes, the Police & Fire Commission is charged with establishing and enforcing policies pertaining to the Fire Department, which supersedes any sections of the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual; and
 
WHEREAS, it is recommended that Policy Nos. 1701 through 1704, Fire Department, be deleted from the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual and that the policies of the Fire Department control fire operations.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy Nos. 1701 through 1704 be deleted from said City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that directions concerning deletion of said policies be communicated to all departments, divisions, and offices.
