Resolution Approving Acquisition of Certain Lands and Interests for the Laying Out, Relocation and Improvement of the Intersection of West National Avenue and West Oklahoma Avenue to Root River Parkway.

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis (the "City"), on April 2, 2003, adopted Resolution No. R-2003-0118 constituting a Relocation Order for the laying out, relocation and improvement of the intersection of West National Avenue and West Oklahoma Avenue to Root River Parkway (the "Project") and,
WHEREAS, in connection with the Project it will be necessary to acquire certain lands or interests in lands as shown on the right-of-way plat for the Project; and,
WHEREAS, there will be no displacement of persons as a result of the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized and directed to acquire the lands and interests in lands as shown on the Schedule of Lands and Interests Required, Engineering Drawing No. Y-1132 dated October 22, 2002, for the Project pursuant to Sections 62.22 and 32.05(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
2. That the Department of Engineering of the City of West Allis be and is hereby authorized to reimburse the owner of any real property acquired for the Project all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred therefore as provided in Section 32.195 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
