Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to pay for Sanitary Sewer Main Repairs at the Intersection of South 56 Street and West Beloit Road, in the amount of $5,617.88.

Body

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer main at the intersection of South 56 Street and West Beloit Road failed based on field observations; and,

WHEREAS, The Engineering Department has determined the failure was a result of a WE Energies - Electric facility in conflict with the sanitary sewer main; and,    

WHEREAS, The Engineering Department and the City's Attorney's Office determined that the best interest of the City is a shared cost agreement with We Energies for repairs of the Sanitary sewer main.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to Globe Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $5,617.88.
