Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering water hydrants for a total sum of $73,346.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for water hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 12, 2012 submitted by HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing fifty-six (56) 2012 Mueller A423 water hydrants for $1,309.75 each for a total sum of $73,346.00 in accordance with RFP #1154 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
