Madison St.; N/S alley between S. 60 St. - S. 61 St.: W. Madison St. to W. National Ave.; N/S and E/W alley between S. 59 St. - S. 60 St.: W. Rogers St. to W. Mobile St.; N/S and E/W alley between S. 59 St. - S. 60 St.: W. Grant St. to W. Lincoln Ave.; N/S and E/W alley between S. 65 St. - S. 66 St.: W. Lapham St. to W. Mitchell St.; N/S and E/W alley between S. 69 St. - S. 70 St.: W. National Ave. to W. Mitchell St.; E/W alley between S. 65 St. - S. 66 St.: W. Arthur Ave. to W. WHEREAS, on March 3, 2015, Resolution No. R-2015-0041 was adopted by the Common Council of the City of West Allis; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer's Office has since received a letter dated March 10, 2015 from the City of Milwaukee City Engineer stating that the City of Milwaukee failed to receive the necessary property owner support to reconstruct two alleys that are jurisdictionally located in both Milwaukee and West Allis and were therefore proposed as a joint effort between the municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Milwaukee has therefore deleted these alleys from their 2015 paving program and intends to wait a few years until they are reconsidered;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. R-2015-0041 adopted by the Common Council of the City of West Allis be rescinded; and the following Resolution be adopted instead:
