Resolution to approve bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for installation of sanitary sewer relay and building services in the Union Pacific ROW from S. 95th St. to 165' W. of S. 95 St. and S. 95th St. from Union Pacific Railroad ROW to W. Rogers St. in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $130,481.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 16 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 16 for:

 

Sanitary Sewer Relay and Building Services in :

 

Union Pacific ROW from S. 95th St. to 165' W. of S. 95 St.

S. 95th St. from Union Pacific Railroad ROW to W. Rogers St.

 

 (PLAN FILE NOS. S-1383, S-1394)

 

for the sum of  One Hundred Thirty Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-One and 00/100 dollars ($130,481.00)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds.
