Title

An Ordinance to Amend Section 3.3, Standards of Conduct, of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code Regarding Personnel Work Activities of Personnel Division Employees When a Close Friend or Relative is Involved.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.  Section 3.3(o) and 3.3(p) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code shall be re-lettered as Section 3.3(p) and 3.3(q).

PART II.  Section 3.3(o) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code shall be newly created as follows:

3.3                     STANDARDS OF CONDUCT.

"(o)                     No official of the Personnel Division shall participate, in any manner, in the hiring, promotion, discipline, or other personnel activity of a close friend or relative, as defined in Rule VII, Section 7 of the City of West Allis Civil Service Commission Rules and Regulations."

PART III.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART IV.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication.
