Resolution to Approve the Affidavit of Correction Regarding the Map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated April 16, 2003, File No. Y-1135, for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a Portion of an Alley East of South 65 Street between West Greenfield Avenue and West National Avenue.

WHEREAS, Resolution No. R-2003-0164, adopted August 5, 2003, approved the vacation and discontinuance of a portion of an alley East of South 65 Street between West Greenfield Avenue and West National Avenue as shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated April 16, 2003, File No. Y-1135 (the "Map"); and,
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. R-2003-0164 was recorded in the Milwaukee County register of Deeds Office on August 13, 2003, in volume/reel 5645, page/image 2061 through 2065, as Document No. 8594722; and,
WHEREAS, the Map erroneously attached, via a hook, the East fourteen (14) feet of alley right-of-way to Lot 11, Block 1 of Kenneth Heights Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the Map has been corrected, approved by the City Engineer on November 11, 2003, and is attached to the Affidavit of Correction, a copy of which is attached hereto for reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Affidavit of Correction be and is hereby approved and should be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
