Resolution to approve bid of Wolf Paving for street construction in S 91st Street, W. Hayes Avenue, W. Orchard St and W. Vigo Terrace in the City of West Allis in the amount of $550,129.75.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Wolf Paving for 2022 Project No. 11 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Wolf Paving for 2022 Project No. 11 for the installation of concrete sidewalk, hot mix asphalt pavement resurfacing, landscaping & utility adjustments in:

 

South 91st Street from West Arthur Place to West Harrison Avenue

West Hayes Avenue from South Green Links Drive to Eastern Dead End

West Orchard Street from South 93rd Street to South 95th Street

West Vigo Terrace from South 99th Street to Eastern Dead End

for the sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand, One Hundred Twenty-Nine and 75/100 dollars ($550,129.75) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds, Water Utility Funds, Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds and Special Assessments.
