Resolution to approve bid of Zenith Tech, Inc. for removals, excavation, base aggregate, concrete sidewalk, electrical work, traffic control and all incidental items necessary to prepare bike share sites for installation of equipment by others in various locations in the City of West Allis in the amount of $103,035.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Zenith Tech, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 6 be accepted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, with approval conditioned on the City receiving approval to award from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, that the proper City Officials be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Zenith Tech, Inc. for the work on the Bike Share contract 2017-6, WisDOT Project ID 2995-01-76 at and for their bid price of $103,035.00, this being the lowest and best bid for removals, excavation, base aggregate, concrete sidewalk, electrical work, traffic control and all incidental items necessary to prepare bike share sites for installation of equipment by others at the following locations:
Summit Place Station: W. Washington Street at Summit Place
City Hall Station: City parking lot on S. 75th Street south of W. Greenfield Avenue
S. 70th Street & W. Greenfield Avenue
Six Points Crossing & W. Greenfield Avenue
S. 63rd Street & W. Greenfield Avenue
Library Station: S. 75th Street & W. National Avenue
Veteran's Park Station: S. 70th Street & W. National Avenue
Farmers Market Station: Southeast corner of S. 66th Street & W. Greenfield Avenue; and,
