Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of JX Peterbilt for furnishing and delivering two (2) 54,000 GVW Cab & Chassis for a total sum of $269,626.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering two (2) 54,000 GVW Cab & Chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of JX Peterbilt be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 14, 2012 submitted by JX Peterbilt for furnishing and delivering two (2) 2013 Peterbilt 320, 54,000 GVW Cab & Chassis for $264,926.00 plus 5-yr extended warranty on engine & components for $4700.00 for the total sum of $269,626.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
