Resolution to approve bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for removal and reconstruction of the concrete alley pavement, storm sewer utility adjustments and storm underdrain in N/S alley between S. 64 St., S. 65 St., W. Madison St. & W. Greenfield Ave. AND construction of a concrete parking lot, modular block wall, decorative fence and landscaping in the parking lot between S. 64 St. and S. 65 St., north of W. Greenfield Ave., in the amount of $148,193.60.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for 2003 Project No. 31 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for 2003 Project No. 31:
Parking Lot & Alley
Parking lot between S. 64 St. and S. 65 St., north of W. Greenfield Ave. and
N/S alley between S. 64 St., S. 65 St., W. Madison St. and W. Greenfield Ave.

for removal and reconstruction of the concrete alley pavement, storm sewer, utility adjustments and storm underdrain in the alley AND construction of a concrete parking lot, modular block wall, decorative fence and landscaping in the parking lot
for the sum of One Hundred Forty-eight Thousand One Hundred Ninety-three dollars and Sixty Cents ($148,193.60)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be reject...
