Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of SunGard Public Sector for Maintenance and Hosting Services for a total net sum of $131,388.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Finance Department has received a proposal for furnishing Application Services Provider (ASP) services for various City departments of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of SunGard Public Sector be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, The Finance Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due the nature of this type of contract.  Sufficient alternatives from other vendors do not exist.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by SunGard Public Sector for providing hosting services, software maintenance and 24x7 support for $10,949 per month for a total sum of $131,388 for 2015 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
