Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of Core Vision IT Solutions LLC for providing Palo Alto Firewall Subscription Service for a total net sum of $17,388.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for providing Palo Alto 2050 Firewall Subscription Service for the IT Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Core Vision IT Solutions LLC be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, the IT Department of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because it they are the only source for this subscription service that is designed for the firewall hardware that we own.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 23, 2013 submitted by Core Vision IT Solutions LLC to provide two (2) yearly subscription service for $8,694.00/yr for the total net sum of $17,388.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
