Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of SEFAC Lift & Equipment Corp.for furnishing and delivering mobile lift equipment for a total net sum of $21,625.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering mobile lift equipment for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of SEFAC Lift & Equipment Corp. be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing/Central Services Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the need for the items being purchased to be interchangeable with existing equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated January 21, 2003 submitted by SEFAC Lift & Equipment Corp.for furnishing and delivering one (1) set of four SEFAC 1200M65-BL mobile lifts for the total net sum of $21,625.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
