WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Arrow-Crete Construction, LLC for 2004 Project No. 12 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Arrow-Crete Construction, LLC for 2004 Project No. 12:

Honey Creek Park Renovation
between S. 84 St. and S. 86 St., south of W. National Ave.

for the construction of an asphalt parking lot, concrete curb & gutter, colored imprinted concrete, grading, landscaping, gazebo installation and utility adjustments

for the sum of Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand, Three Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars ($315,347)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding of $381,000 from the Franklin Field/Honey Creek Park 2003 and 2004 Community Development Block Grant Improvement Project with additional CDBG funding of up to $44,000 transferred from the CDBG Economic Loan Program, for a t...
