Resolution to approve bid of C.W. Purpero, Inc. for sanitary sewer relays, sanitary spot relays, sanitary spot lining, sanitary sewer lining and storm sewer lining in various locations within the City of West Allis, in the amount of $972,644.25.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of C.W. Purpero, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 3 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of C.W. Purpero, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 3:
Sanitary Sewer Relays, Sanitary Spot Relays, Sanitary Spot Lining, Sanitary Sewer Lining and Storm Sewer Lining in various areas within the City of West Allis
(Plan File No(s). S-1334, S-1335, S-1336, S-1337, S-1338, S-1339, S-1340, S-1341, S-1342, S-1343, S-1344, S-1345, S-1346, S-1347, S-1348, X-781, X-782, X-783, X-784, X-785, X-786, X-787)
for the sum of Nine hundred seventy-two thousand, six hundred forty-four dollars and twenty-five cents ($972,644.25)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds and Storm Water Management Funds.
