Resolution to approve bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for street construction, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer relay, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in various locations in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $1,526,773.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 7 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 7:
Street Construction, Sanitary Sewer Relay, Storm Sewer Relay, Water Main Relay, Building Services and Utility Adjustments in
W. McGeoch Avenue from W. Becher Place to W. Beloit Road,
W. Beloit Road from W. Mobile Street to W. McGeoch Avenue,
W. Becher Place from W. McGeoch Avenue to S. 67th Place,
W. Oconto Place from W. McGeoch Ave. to S. 65th St. in the City of West Allis
(Plan File No(s). SP-1129, S-1350, S-1351, U-2449, U-2450, U-2451 & W-1241)
for the sum of One Million Five Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-three and 00/100 Dollars ($1,526,773.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Fun...
