WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Triad Construction, Inc. for 2013 Project No. 8 be accepted.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Triad Construction, Inc. for 2013 Project No. 8 for the construction of a new garage located on the existing Fire Station No. 2 property located at 2040 S. 67th Place in the City of West Allis, according to the plans and specifications for the sum of  One Hundred Forty-Thousand One Hundred Nineteen and 00/100 dollars ($140,119.00)
 
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by the remainder of the CPAP funds, Land and Building funds and future payback from the CPAP fund.
