Title

Resolution to amend City’s Policy and Procedure #1435 relating to the Safety Program.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis Policy and Procedure #1435, Safety Program, was adopted by the Common Council on January 1, 1982, to ensure the implementation of a safety program for the city; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend such policy to allow for safety committees to be internal work groups.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy #1435, Safety Program, is approved as amended in the attached.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is authorized and directed to amend such policy and distribute to all departments, divisions and offices.
