Resolution to approve bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for street construction, parking lot construction, storm sewer, sanitary sewer repair, and miscellaneous utility adjustments in W. Mitchell St. from S. 106 St. to S. 108 St., S. 106 St. from W. Mitchell St. to Dead End South, W. Lapham St. from S. 108 St. to 235' west of S. 108 St., and Fire Station No. 3 at 10830 W. Lapham St., in the amount of $289,247.10.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2007 Project No.13 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2007 Project No. 13:
Street construction, Parking lot construction, Storm sewer, Sanitary sewer repair, and Miscellaneous utility adjustments in:
W. Mitchell St. from S. 106 St. to S. 108 St.
S. 106 St. from W. Mitchell St. to Dead End South
W. Lapham St. from S. 108 St. to 235' west of S. 108 St.
Fire Station No. 3 at 10830 W. Lapham St.
(Plan File No(s). S-1326, S-1327, S-1328, S-1329, S-1330, S-1331, U-2445, X-779, X-780)
for the sum of(289,247.10 ) Two hundred eighty nine thousand, two hundred forty seven dollars and ten cents
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds, Water Utility Funds, Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Capital Projects Fund, and Special Assessments.
