Title

An Ordinance to repeal Salary Ordinance No. O-2014-0087 and re-establish the salaries of certain Miscellaneous Employees of the City of West Allis for 2016.

 

Body

The Common Council for the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

 

PART I.  Salary Ordinance No. O-2014-0087 is hereby repealed.

 

PART II.  The wage and salary ranges of the following miscellaneous employees, commencing on the first full pay period after January 1, 2016, shall be as follows:

Part-Time Cleaner                                                                                    $12.00 - $15.00/Hr.

 

Provisional Laborers                                                                                     $12.00 - $15.00/Hr.

 

Seasonal Laborers - 1st Year                                                               $9.00/Hr.

  - 2nd Year                                                               $9.50/Hr.

  - 3rd Year                                                               $10.00/Hr.

  - 4th Year                                                               $10.50/Hr.

(1)                     The above pay rates represent resident (R) rates.  These resident pay rates shall be reduced by 2% for perimeter status employees.

(2)                     Shall receive $5.00 additional for attending instructional meeting prior to each primary and regular election; the Chief Election Inspector shall receive an additional $30.00 and the Assistant Chief Election Inspector shall receive an additional $15.00 for service at each primary and regular election.

 

 

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2016 and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
