Resolution approving a Lease Agreement by and between the City of West Allis and Mandel Group Properties, LLC for a proposed small commercial building to be located at the West Allis Farmers Market at 6503 W. National Ave.

WHEREAS, Mandel Group Properties, LLC desires the construction of a small commercial building, with potential restaurant and outdoor seating uses, at the West Allis Farmers Market, 6503 W. National Ave; and,
WHEREAS, Mandel Group Properties, LLC, desires to enter into a Lease Agreement, a copy of which Lease Agreement is attached hereto and made part hereof, by and between the City of West Allis (the “City”) and Mandel Group Properties, LLC, for said small commercial building with retail space of approximately 2,400 square feet, at the West Allis Farmers Market.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the attached Lease Agreement, by and between the City of West Allis and Mandel Group Properties, LLC, for the construction of a small commercial building to be located at the West Allis Farmers Market at 6503 W. National Ave., be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of West Allis are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the aforesaid Lease Agreement on behalf of the City of West Allis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Lease Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
