Resolution relative to relinquishing municipal alley and storm sewer easements for the land located at the Southwest corner of S. 122 St. and W. Oklahoma Ave.

WHEREAS, on December 19th, 1961, the Common Council of the City of West Allis adopted Resolution No. 12108, which approved the easement for the land located at the Southwest corner of South 122nd Street and W. Oklahoma Avenue, more particularly described as the Northwest ¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, in the City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, which was recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Milwaukee County on January 12th, 1962 in Volume No. 4208, Page No. 335, as Document No. 3927172; and,
WHEREAS, the owners gave, granted, conveyed and released unto the City, and to its successors and assigns forever, the right to enter upon the hereinafter described real estate to construct, repair, maintain and alter an underground storm sewer. The description of the land granted by this easement is as follows:
The South Ten (10) feet of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Orchard Hills, being a Subdivision of a part of the Northwest ¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, in the City of West Allis, Wisconsin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin;
And,
WHEREAS, on July 30th, 1963, the Common Council of the City of West Allis adopted Resolution No. 13526, which approved the easement for the land located at the Southwest corner of South 122nd Street and W. Oklahoma Avenue, more particularly described as the Northwest ¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, in the City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, which was recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Milwaukee County on August 15th, 1963, in Reel No. 144, Image No. 656, as Document No. 4044953; and,
WHEREAS, the owners gave, granted, conveyed and released unto the City, and to its successors and assigns forever, the right to enter upon the hereinafter described real estate to construct, repair, and maintain an alley. The description of the land granted by this easement is as follows:
The South Twenty (20) feet of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Orchard Hills, being a Subdivision of a part of the Northwest ¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, in the City of West Allis, Wisconsin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin;
And,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid easements on said map are no longer necessary for any public purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City, having no further interest in the aforesaid dedicated easements, does hereby release and relinquish all rights and interests of whatever nature in said land.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the Register of Deeds Office, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
