Stuth Ave., W. Stuth Ave. from S. Orleans Ave. to S. 90 St., S. Orleans Ave. from W. Stuth Ave. to W. Beloit Rd., S. Osage Ave. from W. Dakota St. to W. Beloit Rd. and W. Vincent Pl. from S. 89 St. to 275 ft. west of S. 90 St. in the amount of $255,515.35.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of MJ Construction, Inc. for 2003 Project No. 14 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of for 2003 Project No. 14:

Installation of sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer, water main, building services and utility adjustments in:

S. 90 St. from W. Dakota St. to W. Stuth Ave.

W. Stuth Ave. from S. Orleans Ave. to S. 90 St.

S. Orleans Ave. from W. Stuth Ave. to W. Beloit Rd.

S. Osage Ave. from W. Dakota St. to W. Beloit Rd.

W. Vincent Pl. from S. 89 St. to 275 ft. west of S. 90 St.

(Plan File No(s). W-1211, W-1212, U-2342, U-2343, X-750 & S-1274)

for the sum of Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Thirty-Five Cents ($255,515.35)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Water Utility Funds, Sanitary Sewer Funds and Storm Water Management Funds.
