WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of  LaLonde Contrators, Inc for 2016 Project No. 7 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contrators, Inc for 2016 Project No. 7 for the asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement, pavement milling, with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, pavement marking, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer relay, and utility adjustments in:

West National Avenue from S. 56^th Street to S. 57^th Street

West Greenfield Avenue from S. 56^th Street to S. 60^th Street

West Cleveland Avenue from S. 92^nd Street to S. 99^th Street

West Cleveland Avenue Parking Lot at S. 84^th Street

(PLAN FILE NOS. S-1561, S-1562, S-1563, X-855, X-856, X-857, SP-1219, SP-1222, M-15, M-16, B-821)

for the sum of One Million, Four Hundred Nine Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty-two and 32/100 dollars ($1,409,822.32)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Special Assessments.
