Grant St. within the City of West Allis, in the amount of $1,805,692.92.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Willkomm Excavating & Grading, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 6 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Willkomm Excavating & Grading, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 6 for:

installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer relay, storm sewer, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in:

West Grant Street from South 84^th Street to South 90^th Street

South 85^th Street from West Becher Street to West Grant Street

South 86^th Street from West Becher Street to West Grant Street

(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1165, SP-1166, SP-1167, W-1292, W-1293, W-1294, W-1295,

S-1435, S-1436, S-1437, S-1438, U-2511, U-2512, U-2513, U-2514, U-2515)

for the sum of  One Million Eight Hundred Five Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two and 92/100 dollars ($1,805,692.92)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Special Assessments.
