Title
Ordinance to amend Section 12.30 of the Revised Municipal Code relative to creating a special use subsection, and to amend Sections 12.30, 12.31, 12.40 and 12.41 relative to permitting public utility services, electric substations, water pumping stations and other similar uses as a special use.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Section 12.30 of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended by re-numbering paragraphs (2) through (8) to read as paragraphs (3) through (9).

PART II. Subsection 12.30(2) and Subsection 12.30(2)(a) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis are hereby created to read:
12.30 RE RESIDENTIAL ESTATE DISTRICT.

(2) Special Uses.
* * *
(a) Public utility services (excluding antenna towers for radio, TV and television, and telephone transmission), electric substations, water pumping stations and other similar uses.

PART III. Subsection 12.31(3)(e) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
12.31 RA-1 RESIDENCE DISTRICT.

(3) Special Uses.
* * *
(e) Public utility services (excluding antenna towers for radio, TV and television, and telephone transmission), electric substations, water pumping stations and other similar uses.

PART IV. Subsection 12.40(2)(s) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:
12.40. C-1 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.

(2) Special Uses.
* * *
(s) Public utility services (excluding antenna towers for radio, TV and television, and telephone transmission), electric substations, water pumping stations and other similar uses.

PART V. Subsection 12.41(2)(p) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
12.41 C-2 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

(2) Special Uses.

(p) Public utility services (excluding antenna towers for radio, TV and television, and telephone transmission), electric substations, water pumping stations and other similar uses.

PART VI. All ordinances or parts of ordinance contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART VII. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
