Resolution to approve bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, building services and utility adjustments in S. 104th St. from 382’ North of Dakota St. to W. Montana Ave.; W. Florence Ln. from S. Waukesha Rd. to Root River Pkwy.; S. Seymour Pl. from W. Florence Ln. to North of W. Florence Ln. in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $317,189.20.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for 2015 Project No. 11 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for 2015 Project No. 11 for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, building services and utility adjustments in:
South 104th Street from 382’ North of Dakota Street to West Montana Avenue
West Florence Lane from South Waukesha Road to Root River Parkway
South Seymour Place from West Florence Lane to North of West Florence Lane
PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1210, SP-1215, X-846, I-992C
for the sum of Three Hundred Seventeen Thousand, One Hundred Eighty-Nine and 20/100 dollars ($317,189.20)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Special Assessments.
