Lapham Street Ext. to W. National Ave., S. 73 St. from W. Lapham St. to W. National Ave. in the City of West Allis in the amount of $764,692.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Northern Pipe Equipment, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 9 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Willkomm Excavating & Grading, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 9 for the installation of sanitary sewer relay, box storm sewer, storm sewer, and utility adjustments:
West Lapham Street Ext. from South 72 Street to South 73rd Street
South 72 Street from West Lapham Street Ext. to West National Avenue
South 73 Street from West Lapham Street to West National Avenue
PLAN FILE NOS. S-1518, U-2585, U-2585A, U-2585B & U-2586
for the sum of Seven Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety-Two and 00/100 dollars ($764,692.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds and Community Development Block Grant Emergency Assistance Program funds.
