Resolution to approve bid of Wolf Paving for street construction & utility adjustments in W. Becher Street from S. 92nd Street to S. 99th Street in the City of West Allis in the amount of $616,246.30.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Wolf Paving for 2022 Project No. 14 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Wolf Paving. for 2022 Project No. 14 for the asphalt resurfacing of the pavement, including miscellaneous concrete sidewalk repair, landscaping, and utility adjustments in:
West Becher Street from South 92nd Street to South 99th Street
(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1276, X-927, X-928)
for the sum of Six Hundred Sixteen Thousand, Two Hundred Forty-six and 30/100 dollars ($616,246.30) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds, Water Utility Funds, Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds and Special Assessments.
