Petition to exceed the alcohol license quota submitted by Markus Gorsic, of Jagers LLC, d/b/a Da Bar, for a 2019-2020 Combination Class B Liquor License for the premises located at 1900 S. 60 St.
Recommendation
Recommended for Denial. Based upon the following grounds:
the lack of an available license due to the municipal quota; this location having been problematic when it was licensed for alcohol sales; the proposed establishment not having a greater economic impact on the community than simply another tavern; that Combination Class B Liquor Licenses to go over quota are more for destination establishments, restaurants, and unique establishments with more to offer than just alcohol. The motion carried by the following vote:
