Resolution Granting a Privilege for Encroachment (Major) to New Owner S Sehra LLC for property located at 979 South 60th Street (Tax Key No. 439-0008-000).

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. R-2006-0188, adopted August 1, 2006, the City of West Allis granted to 979 South 60 Street LLC a certain Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and Within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of metal-framed, canvas awnings along the west side of South 60th Street and the North side of West Mineral Street and a 4’ x 6’ sign made of polycarbonate plastic face, aluminum frame and steel supports on that part of the right-of-ways of South 60th Street and West Mineral Street (“Privilege”); and,
WHEREAS, the property has now changed ownership to S Sehra LLC, who desires to retain the Privilege; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of West Allis grants to S Sehra LLC the Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of metal-framed, canvas awnings along the west side of South 60th Street and the North side of West Mineral Street and a 4’ x 6’ sign made of polycarbonate plastic face, aluminum frame and steel supports on that part of the right-of-ways of South 60th Street and West Mineral Street on the property located at 979 South 60th Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that additional improvements on said area must require prior approval of the Board of Public Works.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of West Allis are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the aforesaid Privilege on behalf of the City of West Allis.
