Resolution amending the authorization given to the City Administrator to enter into a professional service agreement with HR Pro Consulting, LLC to provide consulting services for an Interim HR Director to modify the total sum authorized not to exceed $75,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the City entered into a professional services agreement with HR Pro Consulting, LLC (Michelle Wachtel) to provide consulting services for the Interim HR Director for a total sum not to exceed $26,450 (Legislative File R-2019-0042); and
WHEREAS, HR Pro Consulting, LLC has been providing interim HR Director services, and the City will need these services for longer than originally anticipated due to the unsuccessful outcome of the employment contract with the candidate of choice and the need to prioritize the replacement of the Health Commissioner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Administrator is authorized to continue the professional services agreement with HR Pro Consulting, LLC for a total sum not to exceed $75,000 for the period of time where the Human Resources Director position is vacant and a transition period after the new Human Resources Director begins their position. (The increase accounts for both the additional time period but also an anticipated increase of weekly hours.)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for this agreement will be charged to the Human Resources Consultant Account No. 100-1301-517.30-02.
